The two games in Cardiff

USA v Cook Islands, Bristol

PNG v Samoa, Hull

Headingley quarter final

OT Final.

May add a couple more.

Have booked five nights at the Ibis in Bristol to cover the two games down there. It was actually cheaper than a couple of nights in Cardiff - thieving "£$%^&*()s.

No clue really. Plenty of speculation here though: http://www.totalrl.c...merged-threads/

A friend of mine is going to most games, including traveling to Avignon for the NZ v France game, then arriving back in time for the game at Huddersfield the following afternoon before driving to St Helens that night!

We are going to Cardiff and Warrington on opening weekend, then Wales v USA as our group games. Then 1 QF, the Semi at Wembley and the Final.

Would have liked to have gone to more but finances wont allow. Its annoying as I bought Final tickets but was then told we're entitled to free ones but they wont refund what we've already bought. I did explain that the money would have been spent on more tickets for other games but still...... Never mind.

I've just added Scotland v USA to my list, so I am now seeing every country at least once!

If it's feasbile, do it! We need as many people as possible at Cardiff to get the tournament off to a great start! ;)

I have decided to try and get to Wal vs USA since I am going to the Eng vs Ire and Aus vs Fij (still to buy!) matches that weekend...

I thought they may have opened the Upper North Stand at Cardiff having hit the back row of each Cat 6 area; they are however, selling every row by the looks of it first (they'd be selling a row, missing the next etc...). So about 60,000 are on sale presently.

I forgot to mention Scotland v USA. This was arguably the first we agreed to go to on account of our mate being from Glasgow originally so he's excited to watch Scotland for the first time!

I'll be going to:

Week 1

Sat - England v Australia & Wales v Italy (Cardiff)

Sun - N Zealand v Samoa (Warrington)

Week 3

Thu - Scotland v USA (Salford)

Fri - N Zealand v PNG (Headingley)

Sat - England v Fiji (Hull)

Sun - Tonga v Italy (Halifax)

Quarter Finals

Sat - Wrexham & Wigan

Sun - Warrington

Both semis and the final.

Quite a lot written down like that. After doing 12 in the 2000 tournament I'm glad to be going one better this time. I decided in the summer I'd be doing this and by snapping up the advance prices for Travelodges and train tickets (I live in London), it wasn't ruinously expensive.

An impressive list especially given the fact that all bar Wembley are away from your home base.

Isn't 60,000 the RLWC's goal for ticket sales at Cardiff?
