Tonights fixtures.

So tonight we have:

 

Game 1 - Swinton v Barrow

Game 2 - Sheffield v Hunslet

Game 3 - Batley v Leigh

Game 4 - Dewsbury v Doncaster

Game 5 - Featherstone v Haven

Game 6 - Keighley v Halifax

Game 7 - Workington v York

 

My predictions for the fixtures would be:

 

Game 1 - Home win no BP

Game 2 - Home win no BP

Game 3 - Home win BP

Game 4 - Away win BP

Game 5 - Home win BP

Game 6 - Away win no BP

Game 7 - Home win BP

 

This would make the bottom five look like:

 

10. Keighley 32

11. Swinton 31

12. Barrow 30

13. Hunslet 29

14. York 26 (1 game in hand)

 

This would mean a win against a Keighley with nothing to play for at home would guarantee our survival.

 

Or if we're being optimistic; We win both our games by 50 points. Haven and Town don't get a bonus point from their last two games that will put us in the play offs. Despite our woeful away record we win 3 consecutive away games to make it to the grand final.

 

One can only dream, hopefully results go our way tonight and we are guaranteed survival.

Strangely, I was doing just the same thing. Working out different combinations.

In an ideal world for Barrow, all the results go our way and we leap frog Keighley by the end of the night.

Let's hope so eh!
