Wigan and Warrington used to play for the Locker Cup

They dont anymore? anyone know why?

Because Wigan and Warrington no longer have a pre-season friendly.


I think Wigan and Warrington should play one of the games each season for the right to hold the Mike Gregory Trophy.


A coin should be tossed for which game in the starting season is chosen, Wigan v Wire or Wire v Wigan, after that it should be up to the challengers to win it from the holders at their own ground.

There has been talk of reviving the Locker Cup as the Lockers Cup, with a redesigned trophy shaped like an opposition player's head.
