SUN 1ST September 2013

How exciting can the climax to a season be? Well 25, games played, over 2000 minutes of highs and lows have all come down to 1 final game, 80 minutes of rugby stand between success and failure!!!
It’s pretty much as simple as, if we win we stay up and we lose we go down!!!

In recent home games against Leigh, Halifax and Workington we have had over 1000 in the ground and the boys have pulled out sterling performances and huge wins roared on by the crowd. On Sunday 1st September we need to pack craven park out and get behind the Raiders. We’re urging all supporters to bring along friends and family, fans who maybe only attend a couple of times a season to come give their support for one last push over the line. Or even if you’ve never attended a rugby match before there would never be a greater opportunity, a better spectacle, a more important game, a more tense match, a game where so much hangs in the balance for our local club than this weekend’s game.

The clubs efforts to help continue with another KIDS GO FREE game, all under 16’s accompanied by an adult will get into the ground for free. Bring the family along lets have everybody singing, shouting and screaming for the Raiders.

Let’s not forget Keighley are just two places above us, 2 point ahead of us in the league, they will be looking to secure at least a bonus point so they are in the exact same boat as us, they will be bringing all their travelling support with them to egg their boys on so we need to be bigger in numbers and louder in voices.

The usual match day experiences continue after the game with live entertainment outside and free sausage and chips in the bar after the game.

Let’s finish the season on a high!!!

Let’s be part of it together!!!

Love Barrow, Love rugby, Love The Raiders!!!!
