What a game. Everything going for it. Put many SL games in the shade. Shame there had to be a loser, taking into account both performances.

Congrats to the lads and to everyone involved behind the scenes.

I know what you are meaning with it being a shame that there had to be a loser, however, we did hammer them. LOL

It would have been a lot more if we had not been chasing a total!

Another monkey off of my back tonight. Because I missed so many seasons through SL apathy it is the first time that I have been when Rovers have beaten Sheffield at home. I seen us lose a few times and draw on at least one occasion. And missed a couple that Rovers have won.

I must apologise for the low Sheffield turnout as apparently it was my fault for not been very welcoming.

if sheffield fans were invited to Richard bransons island free with all expenses paid and a welcome from cheryl cole , they'd struggle to get a participant

Interesting to see if a few who say they werent coming to Hunslet on Sunday suddenly have a change of heart? No doubt the Fev attendees will have increased

Wow of a game, a privilege to have been there to witness it

Been through every emotion, we were clearly the better team over the 80 but conspired to win it, lose it then win it again

We did a tremendous job on Yere, QLT and Talaupapa for most of game for a change, we took them out and we battered the forwards into submission, think their gameplan in the second half was to see the game out and get a BP rather than go all out for the win and they crumbled under the pressure

Will Sharp should be given the freedom of the town

Make no mistake though this is not the last we've heard of Sheffield this season. A well organised side with clinical finishing. QLT's knock on gamebreaker. They were without Mitch Stringer tonight, Howieson has now retired and the injury which led to Patch Walker's withdrawl and Brambani and Henderson's spell on the sidelines in the 2nd made a significant change to the momentum tonight. I know we lost Greg in the warm up but Jonathan Hepworth was and is a very able replacement.

150 for sheffield away is good tbh, especially for a mid week game

When I saw the title of this topic, I thought that It was about someone complaining that Robin, Richard and I were sat between them and the floodlights.

3800 Fev fans and 91 Sheffield Budgie fans, Fantastic night well done to one and all, Just want to say I thought Finns kicking game for 90% of the game was out of the top draw last night and the variation in his kicking was outstanding, what a difference it made not to see kick offs just going to the corners of the field.
