I'm sure I read that Leek had already been offered terms for next season when he came in a month or so ago. Will Ash and Danny give it 1 more (was watching Batley v Leigh 2006 and guess who scored a try playing on the left wing? Ash!!). Brev is another who still has a year or 2 as i think he could be a good subbing prop as he still has a bit of pace yet also can spot an opening like the little dab he put in for Pottsy at Hunslet, will he stay as well? I'm sure that Jk has all his answers by now and knows who he's bringing in and by the end of next month (sooner if we bow out of the play-offs) we'll all know.

Ash played quite a few games on the wing in his early Batley days. I reckon he has filled in in most positions.

I believe that Danny is retiring and Ash hasn't yet resigned but since Ash will be due a benefit the year after next I would think Batley might use that to persuade him to stay on at least until then.

Would love to see the addition of some contracted props similar to the green/ mullaly mould that haven fallen foul of first team football and are hungry to break onto the front pages!

incidentally who's betting on the saints friendly coming to fruition that was attributed to the walmsley transfer this yuletide

I know who McLaughlin is, just wondered why a nickname was used. Some posters, especially our younger ones might not be familiar with the nickname.
