I see Northampton 'A' conceded a walk over and didn't travel to Gateshead (above).  I also see that their first team conceded two games towards the end of NCL South and didn't travel to Bristol and Sheffield.  Does anyone know if things are ok at Northampton.  Pulling out of the Harry Jepson Trophy and games in the NCLSouth isn't really what we would want from a club at this level.    I hope things are ok for them and the missed games were just a glitch.  Anyone from the Demons can fill us in?

If Northampton could not fulfill the fixture then all the more reason why Aberdeen should have been offered the chance to be in the draw having earned the right as Scottish Champions. Gateshead would have been a long way but not so far that Aberdeen would have been unable or unwilling to make the journey.

This has to be sorted next season. It should be clear to everyone WELL IN ADVANCE what the deal with the HJ trophy is and we should have an idea who will / won't commit to the post-season tournament. That way we hopefully won't invite teams who have to pull out.
