This Wednesday 4th September an exhibition all about the Rugby League World Cup's rich and fascinating history opens in Leeds Central Library.

Then on Friday 13th September between 1 and 2.30, Professor Tony Collins will be there speaking about how the game got started in Leeds.

More details about a growing number of events that are being organised across the North of England are provided on the Try Reading website.

www.geofflee.net for news of my novels, One Winter, One Spring, One Summer, One Autumn and Two Seasons. All are written against a strong Rugby League background, set in South Lancashire and inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller".
