I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

He went off against York , but he puts his body on the line and always goes in full pelt so he gets knocks . He's also rock solid at the back and doesn't drop kicks . Our others often look like they're blindfolded .

And we now don't kick the kick-off 10 metres. Penalty to Batley under pressure again.

We are our own worst enemies sometimes with the way we make unforced errors in our own half. Good teams punish you for it and you just can't do it in this kind of company.

Have you recently walked 500 miles ? Were you advised to walk 500 more ? Did you fall down at someone's door ?
