NRL Season 2013 seems to have flown by

This is the last round before the Finals starts with the Top 8 eight to enter the play offs.

So there's a lot to play for with some home fixtures at stake too.

We''l know who plays who next weekend once the round is finished.

R26 has been shuffled forward a day so as to fit all games in by the end of Sunday. That way all teams that qualify will have a reasonable rest before their finals campaign gets underway.

PSportsRound262013_zpsf80461bb.jpg

There a several big games in there. They don't come bigger though than Sydney's Rabbitohs and Roosters facing off in a massively anticipated Friday game.

Last week saw a few slip ups by some big teams. Maybe there will be some more this weekend by other teams.

A fair number of experienced players will be retiring at the end of the season so for some that will be after this weekend's game.

Good luck to your team.

Tomorrow Michael Maguire's Bunnies can put one over their bitter rivals the Chooks and lift a first JJ Giltinan Shield since 1989.

Bunnies fans are enjoying the good times!

There'll be a lot of pressure on both teams.

Which will handle it better?

Two great line ups including

- a 'bulk' of Burgesses, an apparently more fit Greg Inglis, John Sutton, Adam Reynolds etc

- magic Maloney, man mountain Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, and his majesty SBW etc

What a great game in prospect for both sets of fans AND neutrals!

RABBITOHS V ROOSTERS
Sonny Bill Williams will be assessed Friday morning after he trained on Thursday with a calf complaint. The Roosters are already without rising star Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (ankle), who is hoping to be back next week. The Rabbitohs have cleared Greg Inglis, whose knee injury is a week-to-week proposition.

11.45AM UPDATE: Sonny Bill Williams (calf) is expected to play despite Thursday's training scare. Luke Burgess is expected to be ruled out for the Rabbitohs, with Jason Clark to come into the squad

Sbw is playing.
Fantastic crowd 50,000 ish. Electric atmosphere.
What a day with so much at stake in this game not just bragging rights.

Both teams already on the score sheet.
What a start.
How good would it be to be there in the stadium.

Time running out.
Minor Premiers:
Sydney Roosters

Bunnies bombed a couple of chances, one ball just needing touching down.
Still Roosters won on the wrong end of the penalty count.

If that was played on a sunday afternoon I think near 80000 would of turned up but great crowd and despite all the doom and gloom with crowd's in the NRL it seem's that fan's just want to go to the big game's.
