Any one who followed RL in the late 60s and 70s, will have heard of Mayfields winger Jimmy Power.
Sadly Jimmy has died of cancer aged 69 Jimmy played for Mayfield for a good number of years, and Spotland Rangers.
He represented Lancashire and Great Britain, and captained the GB side several times.

RIP
A large VAT Dave please.

A sad loss. He was a true flying winger who never took a backward step. More than that he was an out and out club man. He could have played at the highest level but chose to play with his local amatuer team Mayfield.
