Interesting result. Does that have any impact on our route to the final?

No we will still be playing Leigh away, unless Leigh win at Featherstone, then we would have to go to Sheffield in the next round

Never seen Sheffield play as badly as that, they look to be going through a similarly bad spell to the one we went through recently.

Yep. Tubby usually gets his timing right for these things but it looks like they may have overstretched themselves this year.

Quite an emotional interview with Tubbs on Radio Sheffield after tonights game. Apparently the Eagles have exhausted all potential avenues for a ground tenancy and may be forced to shut down if a suitable venue cannot be found!

I would have thought the stadium at Rotherham would be ideal?

Appparently Sheffield have already explored that avenue and its a dead end - in terms of both the NY Stadium and the old Millmoor ground.

maybe they need to check on owlerton stadium. it used to have pitch in middle of track years ago same as rochdale used to have.its a busy place with revenue from stock cars and speedway and dogs,am sure they would be gratefull of extra revenue from the rugby side a things, strange things do happen with a  return to odsal of speedway and brisca f1 stockcars for 2015.
