Lets try and be out in numbers on sunday!!

The louder the crowd the more it lifts the players, so lets see if we can carry them to victory with our enthusiasm!

I know theres a fair few of you with big gobs....erm...ahem...fine singing voices, so why not see if we can get more involved in the singing/chants?

Flags (obviously NOT put over the advertising hoardings...we don't wanna give BIG Phil the GSO a coronary!!) scarves, hats, face paints, foam hands, and ive even seen the odd one or two with the old footy rattles that seem to be making a come back....bring them all and lets make it a celebration.

Maybe we can raise the roof at Whitebank....oh...wait....well..... lets see if we can make them hear the 'Yeds fans in Rochdale town....or maybe even my home town of Widnes!

Im not allowed to cheer as im working and have to be 'impartial'...so I'm relying on you lot to make the racket for me!

Maybe a cliche......well, yes it is a cliche, but what the hell........this is where the season BEGINS........ORLFC the second best team in the competition on stats , but all that is history now......I'm sure the coach, who has seen all this before first hand as a player , and his trusty assistant will have made this clear to the players.......it all STARTS next week......keep playing as you have done all season and the rewards will come......the current Rochdale team should be given due respect and the local rivalry has been there forever but ORLFC are the better team......we will have to play up to our best but none of the players should need any special motivation.....that said, playing at home with extra crowd support is a great advantage.......the club is unlikely to ever reach the dizzy heights of Super League (understatement ?) but it should strive to be the best in whatever arena it is playing in.......ORLFC is our club......one of the finest Rugby League clubs in the history of the game........to all the players, well done on a season so far but this is when push comes to shove.......this is hey lads hey.......do it for yourselves, your team mates, your coach and his staff, your loyal supporters but above all, do it for Oldham Rugby League Football Club

Match day AT LAST!

Should be quite a match today, one not to be missed.

We have all been warned about the weather prospects - the lads will just get on with it - so just get out the waterproofs and get down there and shout them to the final. They really deserve it.

GOOD LUCK LADS!!
