I really can't see Wigan winning this as much as I want them too. Just not good enough at the moment. Only hope is Hudds 'week off' hasn't done them any good and they have lost a bit of momentum.

I think the week off will have done the Giants a lot of good, it'll have let them enjoy the LLS and then get themselves back into mental shape for the playoffs

Full squad for the Giants.

I am prepared to be blindly optimisitic and suggest that there isn't a gulf between the sides. If it rains, we could win. You'd have thought we could play without fear of failure having already achieved our goal for the year, but I suppose that would also give us a reason for not being bothered enough.
Despite being clear second favourites, we can draw upon some talented players.

Wigan are always a team to contend, it's going to be a contest and no mistake, I might be confident but not that confident.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Wigan win this one.

Be interesting to see whether Hudds can lay down a marker and carry on where they left off.

Playoff RL is a different thing to normal SL, as a Wire fan I know that all too well!

Usually come the playoffs the Giants team is knackered, patched up and in poor form

This time they are fresh, fully fit, in form and hungry for the playoffs

Usually come the playoffs it's a blessed relief when we crash out at the first hurdle. This time I genuinely think they can't get to Old Trafford

Voted Hudds, but fear it will go the other way.

Voted for Wigan, more in hope than expectation. They really need to learn how to play without O'loughlin Not sure if this is that time though. :(

I have a hunch that Wigan could pull this off, Huddersfield are due a loss. However Gnats 22-Wigan 8

but you and I weve been through that and this is not our fate.
So let us so let us not talk falsely now.

I remember the team that played Bradford meant that Huddersfield morally contravened the rules of playing your best available team.By the way if you start to be a successful club you will have to get used to this sort of thing

Ooh does that mean I get to have an arrogant chip on my shoulder too ;) (as opposed to a paranoid inferiority complex)

Anyway, wanting Wigan to win just means you'd rather play them than the Giants :D
