Workington Town player banned for punching

Workington Town player Jamie Thackray has been suspended for one match after an RFL Disciplinary Tribunal found him guilty of the Grade A offence of punching in the 64th minute of a Kingstone Press Championship fixture at Batley Bulldogs on September 8.

and briers was a punch from behind. at least thacks had the balls to do it face to face.

Jeez - same charge as Briers.

 

Why didn't Thackray use his EGP and get no ban?

If you read the game thread, we put that one to bed......the footage shows that as Briers threw the punch Ablett was facing him....as he saw the punch coming, Ablett turns away cowering.......you can't blame Briers for that
