Good publicity for the RLWC, although I wouldn't watch a show hosted by that **** Lovejoy even if my own children were on it.

And to add to that.. Rugby League does get the odd mention on Chris Evan's (9.6 million listeners) and Simon Mayo's (5.65million listeners) radio shows - Radio 2.. Almost fell of my seat first time I heard a report !

Every little helps..

People may have a go at Lovejoy (in the main, it's almost always completely justified), but he does appreciate RL. Used to get much more respect off Soccer AM when he was presenting, and he usually refers to it as the "skillful version" of Rugby. His mind might have been changed now he's in the pay of BT Sport though...!

As long as they don't bring Union into every question then it will be great. Would have been better to have gotten an existing player on with him, maybe Ryan Hall who seems pretty confident on camera and is popular with the ladies!

This seems a bit of a coup, I wouldn't have thought Rugby League would be big enough to feature on the pragram. Good stuff.

What a waste of time, at the end he did nothing but talk about himself. We really need to find another player who is prepared to talk the game up more.

Did the interviewer try and get RU references in as much as they could?

Be positive people

A rugby player has been on prime time tv speak about the World Cup to an audience who we need to sell to

Those that aren't already RL fans

This can only be good

Thanks. Did TL manage to call it the RUGBY LEAGUE World Cup and not the SUPER LEAGUE World Cup.

He referred to it as the Rugby World Cup at one point.

I just think Offiah could have gotten the game mentioned in the last segment rather than his DJing.

It said his try at Wembley was the second best try ever ( after that baabaas one).
That makes it the best try ever without a forward pass.

GB v Kiwis at Headingley 1985 was as good as that Baa-Baas one.
