Predictions for the future -
Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG
Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT
Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG
Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

There is not much on the west coast just yet in the USA (Some guys trying to get things established in LA, Oregon, Seattle, Utah but only a few games happening each year).

The AMNRL & USARL are east coast based.

I must also mention the enthusiastic guys trying to get things going in the Midwest (Iowa, Chicago, Illinois & Arkansas right now)

From the rumors I have heard, he's never actually played league before. Has a good union background though!

This may be from Spinner Howland but I'm not sure, got it from another site:

Andrew Durutalo (USA Eagles - The USA UNION Team) - We are unaware of him ever playing Rugby League. Certainly not a single domestic game. If there is anyone who can find evidence of him playing we would like to know

I recorded the highlights to this game tonight and just watching it now.  Can't believe they're playing on what looks like normal astroturf without knee or elbow protection.

As a (field) hockey player myself its also interesting to compare the pitch sizes with them having both sets of lines on there.

Watching highlights of this now, recorded last weekend. Am absolutely loving the commentator and his nicknames for what seems like every player. Also great to see such a good crowd, with even people watching outside through the fence and cheering one of the tries as its scored! Great to see.
