Good young local signing obviously with big potential and a grounding already in SL academies and with top coaches . Excellent news and hopefully more local gems to follow . Guess few of us have ever seen him play but Barrie McDermott praising a young prop will do for me !

Great to see another top rated local lad signing for Town. Once upon a time he might have gone down the road, but now they all come to us.

Well done to our BOD for securing more local talent. Welcome to Town Liam.

Coached him for allerdale for 5 years, probably, no definitely the most talented kid I've coached, great hands, tough defender, great attitude and at a young age great reader of the game. On top of that he was a real pleasure to coach.

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction."

"Imagination is more important than knowledge."

"We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."

"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence."

Welcome back to Town Liam. Well done BoD on another excellent local recruit.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.
