well, now, it seems " the UN has slapped her down, insisting she is not a member of staff and has nothing to do with Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon."

Daily Mail wording aside, I fail to see how that's a slapping down...  All it did was state her role as an independent mandate holder.  Did I miss something?

Also, your sensational headline implies lies, what lies?

Arguing with the forum trolls is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good you are, the bird will **** on the board and strut around like it won anyway

Lies? Two starters for ten. She wasn't invited ( unless The Guardian invited her) , she didn't meet officials.

Credibility: none.  Why would anyone place any reliance on what this public sector champagne socialist scrounger has to say? Director of the Department of Planning of the city of São Paulo (1989-1992) and National Secretary for Urban Programs of the Brazilian Ministry of Cities (2003-2007) as well as NGO activities, such as Urbanism Coordinator of the Polis Institute (1997-2002). Her achievement? http://www.theguardi...local-solutions

Of course there is a housing problem in the UK as  owner occupiers get rich at the expense of social housing tenants.  The gap between property owners and social housing tenants is as wide as it has ever been. The Blair years  witnessed the undignified spectacle of greedy housebuyers scrambling for bigger and bigger mortgages at unrealistically low interest rates subsided by savers, whilst those really in housing need were left further and further behind. "I'm all right, Jack!"

The solution lies in our own hands, not in the hands of some second rate failed housing functionary from a country where there are more slum dwellers than our total population.

That well known left-wing rag, The Telegraph, has a completely different view to the Daily Mail that contradict your two "lies".

I don't know who she is but find her irritating. However, it doesn't mean she is wrong about this bedroom tax thingy.

Belting.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
