What's the exposure in terms of income?

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

A £10 fee for registering.

Discounted for all those that support the presence of the advert of course.

A swear box.

The last government were convinced that we were there to do their bidding. They wasted vast quantities of our money in order to spy on us, intimidate us and needlessly over regulate us, whilst gold plating their own pensions and expenses. Their behind the scenes encouragement of, and turning a blind eye to, the kettling and harrassment tactics of the Police are a shameful episode in our history which we need to remember and address urgently. - Haloman

Don't go bowing to public opinion, John. Heaven knows where it will end.

I'm now getting adverts (at the top) proclaiming 'The End Of Britain'. Sounds dramatic but it's just a long-winded advert for a money magazine.

I am not sure if this differs by browser but I am using Chrome and don't seem to be having any problems with adverts.

that response surprises me John. We didnt lose you any income, you tested something which had a negative impact on the user experience.

Ultimately if people get fed up of the site you wont be making any money from advertising at all.

There are plenty of sites I avoid due to poor user experience, I wont be on my own.

Apologies if your post was tongue in cheek.

I don't find the adverts this forum uses - including the one John has just trialed - too much of a problem.

The ones that 'pop-up' and need an action to get rid of are the ones that trouble me.

It's a trial run from a new ad agency, that's all. Nothing to get worked up about.

Embrace the ads. They are what keeps the site free for you to use.

Without them, and the revenue they generate to pay for hosting and bandwidth costs, the TotalRL.com forums would not exist.

It'll all look quite different on the new site anyway, which launches on 11th October! :)

Yeah because the site will be down for about two weeks while it's "bedding in" ;)

I look around
I search the skies
I shade my eyes
So nearly blind
And I see signs of half remembered days
I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways
I recognise...
The hope you kindle in your eyes
