Always fun trying to get details on these games.  Sounds like the Kokopo crowd a notch down from their Port Moresby counterparts.

I see Eliab scored.  His name featured in reports on the South Sydney game earlier this year.  One to watch at the WC?

If you've any further info, post up some links- save me the the cost of League Express tomorrow.

That report is hilarious. :D

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Looks like one or two PNG fans weren't too impressed:-

I was slightly surprised by the score as this game usually finishes a bit closer. But it sounds like Adrian Lam was using the game more as a trial, while the Aussies were probably more motivated than usual with WC squad places up for grabs.

Picked up on some of those comments on Facebook/ Twitter but the fans over there are known for their passion so I won't read too much in to it.

Would expect every team in the NRL to hump PNG so the scoreline's nothing to worry about from my detached viewpoint.

Hope they make the QF.
