its a cracker....especially the penultimate sentence. one major omission. Why no reference to the greengrocers apostrophe ?

I think this is quite good, though most of us will straddle several tribes

Am I the only one that read the link and thought 'What a load of patronising rubbish'.

Using their same stupid system I see two tribes:

1.

Guardian Journalists with a bit of space that needs filling 0.00000001%

ICONS: Themselves

What makes them proud?

The ability to fill space with any rubbish.

Who do they cheer for?

Their own mutual back slapping

Whose pride makes them cringe?

Having their article put next to that of one of their own quality journalists.

2.

Everyone else. 9.99999999%

Icons: Lots of different people

What makes them proud?

Lots of different things

Who do they cheer for?

Their own particular beliefs and feelings.

Whose pride makes them cringe?

Embarrassing moments.
