Just seen a bit in the League Weekly - sounds like Wigan are leading a revolt ahead of the meeting

& want all SL clubs to meet before & formulate a response, still mentions a Wednesday Council meeting

for the RFL though

But just found this from the Halifax Courier:

The future structure of English rugby league was thrown into question on Monday night when the Rugby Football League opted to postpone Wednesday’s extraordinary general meeting of the game’s clubs.

The gathering had been expected to vote on, and ratify, proposals - exclusively revealed by Courier Sport in the spring - to ditch Super League’s current 14 team format and move to two top divisions of 12, with a three-leagues-of-eight play off series at the end of each season.

The new format, the result of the far-reaching review of the game carried out by RFL chief Maurice Watkins, would signal a return to promotion and relegation after five years of ‘licensing’, a concept now widely regarded as a failure after a string of financial crisis among top flight clubs.

But after Wigan chairman Ian Lenagan launched an outspoken attack on the RFL on Monday, the future of those plans have been thrown into doubt.

The prospect of a Super League versus RFL power struggle now looks increasingly likely, with the governing body seemingly far from confident of winning Wednesday’s vote if it had gone ahead.

An RFL statement read: “A majority of Super League clubs have indicated an interest in further consultation on the detail of the proposals in order to reach the best solution.”

They also said that, at the moment, the World Cup is more important...
