Go for it ! We need a centre and boy he's a centre ! Cut periphery players like Calders who eat up a few quid and have a go .DR is there if we need it . Quality is what you need next year , a few marquee players can haul you around ,and we need to up our edge threat and try scoring hugely to put games to bed .

Dave i would sign Tom Gilmore for a season loan, or on a month to month rolling contract. The lad is better and more talented than Danny Craven in my opinion.

Yeah I think we would be better off trying to get a couple of the widnes lads on season long loans. Maybe this Gilmore and Hulme, it would prob benefit the player to know what he is doing for the season and give him the full season to develop into a SL squad player. We can still use the DR for the others that we use as and when we need them but we were left short a couple of times again last season and this year is more important if this restructure is gonna happen.
The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

Widnes can benefit from it also but bringing in young lads who have barla international experience training with then with that chance of super league rugby but also getting there apprenticeship from Workington if they are good enough!! Although the 17 we put out next season barring injuries is going to be a good one if the new signings come off
