Anyone thinking of going to see Fiji - this is just one of the reasons to attend!

He scored 3 tries for Fiji at the weekend I think.

I've been roped into doing press for the Cook Islands while they're over here, so as well as being excited I'm slightly scared of how busy I'm going to be over the next six weeks. Still, not complaining - I'll be getting even closer to the action. Exciting times!

Congratulations!!

No need! I do this kind of thing for a living (more writing and editing than PR) - it's just good to be able to help make RLWC2013 a success!

They let us out of school early to watch England play France in 1958, England had a winger nick-named the Cornish express, unless I am dreaming, The School was Parr Central in St Helens, a great Rugby League school, the Council knock it down without a whimper from the people of that area, the building was only about 60 years old.

Graham Paul from HKR. Great little winger.

I was hooked on international RL when as a child, about ten or so, my dad took me to see GB v Australia at a packed Headingley. GB won 11 to 10 and such greats as Wells and Gasnier for Aus and Johhny Whilteley, Geoff Stevenson, Neil Fox and Frank Dyson at full back.

It was awesome and I have enjoyed international RL ever since eventhough, since then GB or England usually lost to the Aussies.

This initial game piqued my appetite and the World Cup in the UK soon followed and I remebre being at Odsal for GB v NZ and Headingley again for NZ v Aus.

I hope this year to see a long overdue England win but will enjoy the camaraderie of the spectators and the romance of the visiting nations no matter what the result.

I'm really looking forward to seeing France v PNG as from what i've read it should be fairly evenly matched.

Best of three falls. I can't see there being any submissions.

The number of people following the RLWC 2013 Facebook page has just topped 30,000, having risen from 20,000 in a bit more than two weeks*.

*Info provided for people who, like me, find positive RLWC news more addictive than crack.

A week on, and the figure has just gone through 41,000.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
