NRC Scrapped for 2014

Even less games next season

It would appear that the RFL in their wisdom have decided to scrap the NRC for the 2014 season. How are the Championship 1 clubs supposed to survive on even less games. Someone joked that we were sure to win the plate competition, even that is taken from us now.

Don't quote me, but there might possibly be another competition for us to compete in

Understand from a very relable source that there will be a minimum of 20 league games, so

10 at home minimum next season, sounds like we may play some teams 4 times - got to 

assume that the extra games would be against the more local teams.
