+50 is looking like free money. Wonder what the half time odds are!

Predictions for the future -
Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG
Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT
Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG
Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

I promise to pay 10 to the charity of Bomb Jacks choice if Widnes Millionaires finish above the battling underdogs Crusaders RL. I OWE A TENNER!

England Rugby League ‏@England_RL 5m

36 - It is Armageddon at Salford. Monsoon like conditions.

rugby league, world cup, uk.

And some people were asking why we're having the opening at a stadium with a roof.

Cheer up, RL is actually rather good

I suppose if people were really interested then they would have gone to the game.
.

Come on, be reasonable. You can't expect everyone to schedule their lives around RL.

I'd love to be watching this game right now but it's my cousins 30th and I've got to be at a meal for it in an hour and a half. Don't think I could get back from Salford in that time.

I put 50 quid on Italy you'd of been an idiot not to. Wet conditions and England playing against a team with quite a few decent NRL players in the side.

Bookies have had a shocker IMO.

Italy have drawn level with a penalty goal from Nasso 14 all with 10 mins remaining. Tense finish at Salford.

What does it mean
This tearjerking scene
Beamed into my home
That it moves me so much
Why all the fuss
It's only two humans being.

The game sounds like a complete mess, I knw it's a warm up but we really ought to be playing something like a settled team.

Sinfield at SH then substituted with Chase going to SH and Widdop to SO then Burrow on for Chase at SH and Sinfield comes on for Tomkins with Widdop to FB and Sinfield to SO....WTF!

At absolutely no point in his coaching career had the England head coached showed any aptitude or ability.

Are we really surprised he couldn't coach the brightest and best to beat Italy?

So, anyone without a ticket for the match next week, will they now be rushing to get one?

Yes, clearly this means the World Cup is over promotion-wise.

We should have played some no-marks and beaten them 74-0.

That always pleases everyone on here.

Italy should be nowhere near this competition in the first place.
At this rate they'll have put a dampened on our prospects, and could beat Wales, and to what end - some lads miss a bit of beach of time while no one in Italy is aware or cares?
It's a FARCE!

Well, that's pretty awful.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

i get your point but can't help this does put a dampener on expectations that we can beat oz in the first game. Unfortunately it's not just on here but the fan base as well unfortunately
