France to aim up after a kick up the backside from USA.  Close game still though, but both teams need to win this one

Yes, I'm one of the many who have PNG as their 'other' team, but I do want to see France show a bit of moxy for once.

The only game that I'm going to and I can't wait.

Like most, I have a soft spot for PNG, but I used to live in France.

As long as there's some action*, big hits and a few tries I'll be more than happy.

Whoever wins this one will almost certainly end up in QF's. Whoever loses is gonna be up against it to qualify as I can't see either beating NZ. I think with most of the crowd behind PNG they might just edge it.

It's time to park the camels.

I am hoping there'll be a big appreciative crowd for a meeting of 2 proper league nations. I think David Mead will cut the French to shreds, but am hoping they'll bounce back and be very competitive against the Kiwis in front of the full house in Avignon...

Important game for both teams. Group B will be very interesting. Hard to pick a winner. I want France re-establish themselves but you can't help but love PNG. Wouldn't mind  French win or at least a good performance so they take some momentum into the game in Avignon. I actually think both these teams will make the quarters though, think Samoa are the weakest of the bunch.

I'll be there and I'm really looking forward to it - the chance to watch a game and appreciate it for what it is without worrying that my side will get hammered again. I predict a tough game and a reasonably comfortable victory for PNG, or maybe the French will hammer them.

Whichever I hope for a truly enjoyable game of international RL played out in front of a good size appreciative audience.

You have to look at it as kind of an away game for France. Agar is a former Hull FC boss and Hull KR have signed three of the PNG squad. Throw the Stanley Gene and Mikali Azuiai factor in there and it doesn't take a genius to realise that the Craven Park regulars will be backing PNG.

Theres probably not a lot to gain looking at past results either, other than i guess it will be close. Their two test series in 2006(?) France won 2-0 and the previous time was in PNG when they won a game apiece.

Yeah, big game from that point of view.  Lean towards PNG tomorrow but would support France against anyone else.

Based on last week's results you'd go for PNG but France have plenty more in them.

Oooohhh... PNG by less than 12.
