All the supporters who watch the matches, buy the programmes, the snacks, buy drinks help the club, who sponsor or are in the lottery being some or all of these who help the club.
It is from this income that the clubs expenditure is met and from which the taxes are calculated.
The fact that the bills and taxes are not paid on time is not the fault of the fans but his the responsibility of the management to see they are paid.
The Oldham Chronicle does not need to mention any ones name as it his a report about the club itself. Most if not all the sports minded people in Oldham know who manages the towns Rugby League club.

As to what the how the fans can help rather than anti Hamilton bashing they have by doing what my first paragraph says.
Any organisation that is VAT registered and has employees and who operate a PAYE scheme who does not ring fence its due taxes to ensure that monies are in place to pay the bill when due are spending money that does not belong to them and which they have no right to spend.
The fact that they do is of no fault of those fans. For anyone to ask fans to help by giving donating money to help paying the accrued tax has not thought the thing through.
WE might as well ask the Council to double our taxes on the basis that the town we live in needs more money
