You see them at a lot of British sporting events supporting Australian teams or individuals. Do they have an official group name? They seemed a fun bunch today.

T Shirts had "Fanatics" on them.

Remember hearing about them gearing up for the Loftus Road (QPR) Tri-Nations Aus vs NZ game at some point in the last decade ... sure enough, they were there in force.

The Fanatics are basically a social group of UK-based Aussies who turn up 'in uniform' to watch any Aus sporting teams play over here in a major event.

 

... actually having just visited their website, seems like they're not confined to just the UK!

I remember seeing them for the first time at that match too. The Cheeky Girls were the pre match act; we've certainly come a long way since then.
