Cracking game! Some complete brain-fart decisions in the last few minutes, but a great finish.  I'd say the best game of the weekend.

It's an easy kick for the lad but, as we say in Rugby League, there's no easy kicks.

Caught the final 20 minutes of that.  What a game!

Great game! Italy's superior forwards were cancelled out by Scotland's great kicking game. Some really good expansive rugby by both. Hugely enjoyable game. More of this please!

Brilliant effort and fantastic coaching. With inferior resources, the Scots have made the most of absolutely everything they have. Let's hope they can put the USA in their place.
So sad to see the "Italian" coach having a moan about the NRL ref. clearly he has more Australian than Italian blood, in common with his squad.

Really enjoyed that, not been many duffers in this tournament.

I'm hooked on this game now, hopefully this will be a big breakthrough. It's a shame so many of the best games won't be seen by big TV audiences. I've not missed a home or away game for my local football club for 5 and a half years. I'm missing the game on tuesday for three reasons; money, a plastic pitch and the clincher is Tongo v Cook Islands.

The difference between Scotland and Wales is that Scotland have got players in the halves. I really think that they will beat USA easily and qualify for the quarters - go Tonga.

Matty Russell seems a great prospect too. Will he be Warrington's full back next year with Ratchford in the centres?

Cannot wait to see Scotland v USA in Salford now. As I have a Scottish granny and red hair as well, neutrality is out of the window for Thursday night, I'm invoking the heritage rule, learning Flower of Scotland and bellowing for the Bravehearts! :)

Just got in . Arguably the best live game I've ever seen , just totally epic . The Italy bookends of Snowden , Laffranchi and Vaughan were brutal ! DP has served up the best fair of a tournament that is just off the scale for entertainment ! International rugby league is alive and kicking the doors down !! How can you not get hooked on this . Just a shame BBC aren't giving everyone the chance to get hooked ... Because with games like this they couldn't help but become addicted !

Why not "Scotland"?

It's time to park the camels.

Me too. Just looked up the train times from Manchester.
Terrific game. The last 20 minutes, in particular, were excellent. Great passing, handling, kicking and the collisions. Awesome.

Apparently about five generations back a bit of my family is from Sutherland.

But we also drink Italian wine like it's going out of fashion.

I'm conflicted.

I do hope you put money it if you thought it was going to happen? Normally about 16/1 for a draw.

Another fantastic game at Derwent park, we've been very lucky. Scotland looked out on there feet with 20 to go, did amazingly to get back in it. Looked a strange decision from broughs attempted DG, how was it not given as another set of 6.

Scotland is hardly stuffed with true Jocks, though.
