No Grubber or Steed at Craven Park last Sunday.

However, Rufus Robin was there in his PNG kit, having been adopted by the team as its official mascot. Rumours that Rufus has been advised by Hudgell to exploit his new nationality to help HKR avoid paying tax are unsubstantiated. ;)

He's certainly keeping RLFans mascot Chippy quiet, he has a damaged shoulder and always goes over the top.

I've some inside info on Steed, can't name names. But he was seen stood outside the Dog and Bucket in Batley on Sunday night a bit worse for wear, smoking and trying to chat up a cute tennis ball. Rumours are that Grubber has sent him home for breaking the no drinking ban. His pump has been confiscated and sent to the lab for testing as he was suspected to be on helium.
