I stated quite clearly what it is based 'in' (I think you meant 'on' but never mind): it is based on my belief. As I said. And I based that belief on what I read when the Salford offices were first set up and I would also add - now, not in the post you were having a dig at - that subsequent articles I have read since have boosted that belief.

so because there are offices in two different cities you believe he will have little involvement?

As tournament director I expect he will have the final say on major decisions.

I believe Sally Bolton's role is General Manager, suggesting she is not the top person overall, however is probably the decision maker on a daily basis.

I make many decisions at work but major ones will be influenced, shaped and ratified by our director.

Sally Bolton wont have been able to do anything that Wood isnt supportive of.
For all we know Bolton may just be Wood's puppet.

What is wrong is dismissing anyones efforts on the rlwc team - as a whole they appear to have done a grand job. People cant give the team credit and exclude Wood.

That would probably depend on when she was appointed. We've had a relatively recent change in chief executive.

And don't forget, Maurice Lindsay appointed her as his assistant for the 1995 WC.

so you don't know?

Predictions for the future -
Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG
Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT
Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG
Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

I promise to pay 10 to the charity of Bomb Jacks choice if Widnes Millionaires finish above the battling underdogs Crusaders RL. I OWE A TENNER!
