Is anybody else signing up for Movember?

I've never done it before but on a whim decided to give it a go this time.

I haven't really had a proper go at excess facial hair since being a student and that wasn't a particularly good look. I am a bit concerned whether grey or ginger will be predominant in my moustache. Perhaps I could dye it.....where's that thread on hair dyeing gone.....

Not this year but I've done it a couple of times. The general consensus is that, with facial hair, I look Albanian. Not the greatest compliment I've ever been paid.

I was going for Mexican (well a pale version of Mexican).

I did it last year and raised £70, which I donated to a local hospice in the end.

Looked terrible though.

I've been asked and declined. My tash looks like a dead woolly-boy after a month.

I keep contemplating it, but I know for a fact I will look a complete ##### with any amount of face fungus. I know if I don't shave for a few days it grows in some places and not others. And there is a real mix of colours form ginge thought brown to grey. Not a good look.

I've been told that I look like someone out of a 1970s porn movie with a moustache. So, no, I won't be taking part in Movember. ;)

On the plus side it was quite Freddie Mercury-ish. So handy for gay nightclubs.

Not doing it this year but have done in the past.Being out-moustachioed by my 15 year old son is embarrassing. :(

I'm doing Movember with a bunch of staff from the College where I teach. I haven't had a tash or beard for over 30 years and it used to look dreadful, so I've had a little test run and got a passable tash. It's taken 10 days and is a mix of grey, ginge and brown, but who gives a damn? I'll shave it off tomorrow for the 'clean' start on the 1st, then grow it again. I might even put a picture of it up on here. What do you you think? Would it scare the children?

My children are very concerned about me growing a moustache.
