Home shirt in today's times and star

It looks good with the blue "V" back again.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

Well it's half way there for me . I never know why you always need a ' modern ' twist on a traditional design . A traditional design is good enough if it's a classic . I don't think any extra swirls and trim are needed - if that's the modern bit . White top , big blue v ... Clear , bold and 100% Town is all that's needed . We could have gone retro and payed homage to the Cup winning team of the 70s!!

I think its great. Plain is boring and old fashioned but at least this still retains tradition.

Yeh it's just an area of discussion and preference for all sports fans at new strip time , but the wider point is that it's an excellent step in the right direction for us , no doubt .

Yeh just a personal view but I understand the marketing aspect . No doubt this will look extremely good when we see it filled up by prime Town beef !! Wonder if they'll change away strips ?

Yeah I think they change both kits annually. Probably because sponsors change every season.

The shirt that has most memories for me was the siimple white shirt and blue band of the sixties. Has this shirt been replicated?

Be a good idea to do the shirt and season ticket at about £150 for first 100 people
£160 200 to 300 people
£180 up to £200 the rest get people interested
