Got to be honest he did ok, great attacking player, defensively....terrible.
Good goal kicker tho.

Started the season well in attack and was very impressive, later on every move seemed to die with him running around like a headless chicken, possibly because he took it upon himself to try to do everything. Some ridiculous brain farts too. Best of luck to the lad at Whitehaven, but I'd rather have a fit James Haynes any day of the week.

Should fit in well at Haven then.  ;)

Even in his first chat to local rag, he's moaning about the travel in store!

Never wanted to get tackled that was my hate with him, time and time again he throw out stupid passes simply because he didn't want to get hit....decent player, young, but way off the finished article.
His one on one defense is truly shocking, never stays on his feet always try to fly tackle instead of standing a player up, but he is a good support player always following the ball.

You've got a good un in Tom , decent lad aswell , always wants to play & if asked would play anywhere ! The amount of times he played injured when he should have come off is a testament to the kid , no one could question his commitment! As someone said its funny how people opinion changes when players leave , truth is he didn't want to leave York but Havens offer was big & it's a short career , especially for the semi pro boys

Spot on there - when the team was playing well, Tom could easily have got MOM

every week. As already said, sometimes tried to hard to influence a game when the

team was struggling
