Hull KR have landed Ben Cockayne from Wakefield for an undisclosed fee.

Wakefield seem to be a little light on experienced players currently.

Gonna be tough for Wakey this coming year, but flogging all these players is part of the plan to balance the books and bring the wage bill under control. No doubt we'll see in a couple of years whether it worked or not!

Well when you get relegated next year for having too light a squad, it'll be interesting to see the books balance in the Championship!

Bit concerned about how many players they're shedding.

It looks like Wakey and London are going to hobble through next year, if either one takes part in SL at all. It should certainly promote the case for a 12 team SL.

It's hard to judge. Glover and Elston played the big men, and didn't do the obvious like spending less than income. Elston has got himself a job with Glover, showing once more that friendship can be blind.

Carter's stripping costs so dramatically that he risks future income.

Losing good players loses games loses crowds, it's not a plan unless it's a survival plan, however what is a great  plan is Newmarket. Passed the end of Newmarket Lane yesterday and for once didn't bother to go down there to see if anything at all has happened, just a sign (Cas managed one at Glasshoughton) would be nice, sad that there's not even a sign (of anything).

All we need is a big investor eh Parky?  Then we can be well run and a success.  Oh and a sign.  If you let me know what size I'll knock one up out of some old pallets.
