Do any exist.......on a stag do this weekend and i'm worried.........when i used to live up there i couldn't find anywhere that shows Rugby League.

The semi final also clashes with Everton v Liverpool so i'm not too hopeful............any advice would be much appreciated.

At the minute i'm looking at avoiding the result til i get home on sunday.

I watched the Fiji game with friends in the Crows Nest near Haymarket while the Union was on other screens.

Thinking about it you could also watch it in Mile Castle near Central Station which has screens but doesn't have Sky Sports.  Watched the first half of the France game in there before heading off to a gig.

I would of thought that The Bascule Bar on the Quayside will be showing the games. It's run by the son of Dave Woods and a few of the Northumbria RL lads work there. I'll message them and see if they'll confirm if it's on. It's about a 3 minute taxi ride (Maybe a fiver) from the main Quayside bars next to the Tyne Bridge etc.

Matchpint isn't particularly helpful.  Only 1 appears to be in Newcastle itself.

Peersy is right the Bascule will be showing the game as a lot of the Gateshead Storm boys are heading over. Woodsy is also running a 20 p chicken wing offer. Buy 50 wings and get a free pint.
