Perhaps. The City of Culture T&Cs exclude sport as cultural output, however, I advise you to watch this space.

Hull is hardly a hotspot compared to many other areas such as the West Riding & Manchester / Lancashire, and as for the Midlands and Darn sarf!!!

 

So keep your other spots of "higher culture" I'm staying safe  :onthequiet:

At first sight I'd have to agree with you, but I'd have to look at attendances in relation to population size to confirm.
