In my opinion Mc,avoy will do a better job for us than Dowes, bar for the odd game to me he was well below what i expected of him. i also think Thackary could do a good job at prop for us this year????

Maybe the quote in the star saying we're waiting on one or two from last year was meaning Thacks? The other .. Who else is left ?

I don't think there is any panic GT,just a general moan by myself about the non activity of player movement or lack of.I am now content to just wait like the rest of us to see what comes in the next month or so,and hope the board will surprise us,that's all. :santa: :santa: :santa:Merry xmas people.....

I agree with you mate, but what went out were top players?and what we have coming in are mostly amateurs, and if we include haney, even he has had a bad injury of late so we do not know whether the lad will hit his form of latter years,if he does we will have signed a good player.I like the look of young Mc,avoy and he could turn out to be the ace in the packbut we still need at least two top forwards and at least two utility backs, but, has I have said to Geordie T I am not panicking  far from it,i just would like to see or hear about our club looking at or have signed players(before January)haha. :santa: :santa: :santa:.

Well it looks like my xmas wish about bringing in players before January could come true,i have heard from a good friend that there maybe something in the papers tomorrow about the signing of a player(s).It would be a welcome for all town fans and, an xmas present for them too.I know the board will have been looking for the right sort of player to bring into Workington town and ones that will enhance the team,i know that is time consuming for the board WHO, will also have families to cater for has well has running the club and I salute them for that,i will be looking early in the morning for any news that I hope will make my xmas even better hahaa..... :santa: :santa: :kingxmas:
