All the best from a Hunslet fan. Always had loads of respect for Swinton. Had it tough like us but a great club with a proud history and tremendous fans.

...a great club with a proud history....

And along with yourselves (1907-08) and Huddersfield (1914-15), winners (1927-28) of rugby league's historic All Four Cups.

A good meeting yesterday between the club, the Trust, & an interested party. The club's current position is now pretty clear to us, and I would urge everyone to attend Monday's meeting. Everyone could potentially make a positive impact here & it need not cost a penny to do it (although of course we 'd urge non-members to sign up!)

Not everyone is on the internet so if you know any fellow fans please, please tell them about the meeting.

It should be in the Rugby League papers on Monday morning and is already on Salford Online and has been mentioned on BBC Radio Manchester but after three emails to the evening news I have given up !

See you all Monday and lets boost the Lions Trust support

And, don't collapse, Monday night's meeting at Swinton Legion, was announced in that bastion of the local sports media, the Salford Advertiser.

Looking forward to Monday night and hoping for a good turnout.
