Aye, an absolute belter of a photo.

(If only you had taken an angle grinder along with you, the picture would have been perfect. ;) )

Well done. Now let's have a good theme for January. :)

would someone else like a go.

I look around
I search the skies
I shade my eyes
So nearly blind
And I see signs of half remembered days
I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways
I recognise...
The hope you kindle in your eyes

Winners prerogative, unless you really don't want to pick.

How about John if MM doesn't want to chose since he entered for the first time and as a fresh name we may get a fresh feel.

Pick a theme and then we'll all take lots of lovely photos on it until the end of January.  Then we'll have a friendly vote.

Think of a theme for the photographs and post it in this thread, the theme can be anything. Its up to the photographers to interpret it.

Ok then, here goes, assuming it's not been done before and to try and encourage as much participation as possible from oldies and newbies alike, how about:

Slightly disappointed that the time spent trying to get a head start on the landmark hat may, afterall, have been a waste!

On Friday 28th March I'm taking part in the Wigan Streetsleep, raising money for The Brick charity who try to ensure nobody in Wigan finding themselves homeless spends a 2nd night on the streets and providing help and support via a foodbank.  Every penny counts so if you can spare anything at all its much appreciated - this link will take you to my sponsorship page thanks.
