Just for once, I thought it would be nice to post a positive article about the muslims of Bradford.  I'm not particularly interested in seeing the usual suspect whining about the evils of Islam on this thread, you've had your say over and over again to the point of ridicule.

Arguing with the forum trolls is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good you are, the bird will **** on the board and strut around like it won anyway

Thats the way to do it.

BTW when I watched Make Bradford British I thought the more conservative ex Rugby League player Rashid Khan would of been the hardest work but he came across as a really top bloke.

In the article it says halal mince pies?
It's been a long tome since there was meat in mince pies.
Great news nevertheless.

Lard is from pigs and there is nothing halal about pigs.
The usual alternative is butter or margarine.

There have been many positive improvements with regard to Muslims' attitude towards their extremists and towards other communities. There is still a lot that needs to be done but I don't think things are quite as bad as when the London bombs went off.

Can't see this being printed in the Mail.

It does not seem to have been covered by any major newspaper bar the Guardian.

Despite the evil in this world, it is still filled with generosity, kindness, personal achievement and success against the odds. A really positive story, as you say Craig.
