Very tough to call this season. I think there will be new name on the league leaders shield and on the play off final trophy this season, but don't ask me who   :scratchhead:

Now where did I leave that pointy thing that bloke Damocles gave me, I've work to do!

Impossible to call I'd say - one or two clubs have invested very heavily on the basis that restructuring would be implemented in 2015 - reckon the usual suspects will be in the top four, but the rest could finish anywhere from top five to bottom. I also reckon relegation will go right down to the wire with maybe half a dozen clubs involved - exciting year with squeaky bums aplenty. ;)

My thoughts exactly GOR. I think Fev may not be so strong to begin with under their new coaching set-up (probably losing heavily in their first league match) and that Batley will do well if they can emulate last season's over-achievement. Sheffield will be strong again and Fax and Leigh should make up the top five. Crusaders may be dark horses as well but they, along with the rest of us may be scrabbling for the four remaining survival spots.

Feels more like round about the time when trolley buses stopped running in Huddersfield.

2006 surely. Thinking back was that the finale at halton stadium to secure a place in national league 1. Should remember my daughter was born that year

2006 was when we finished first in NL2 and you were 6th in NL1; 2005 was when we played at Halton Stadium When we finished 2nd in NL2 and you were 8th in NL1.

2007 we finished 7th in NL1 and you finished 8th.

Come on Grumpy you will remember the days when the position was reversed for ten years or more.

Except for 1970 you are correct. The boot is firmly on the other foot for now though.
