You wouldn't think the game was only 2 weeks from today!!!

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

The great Connor position conundrum ... The way they see it he's still a centre , so as of now Rooney and Connor must be seen as our first choice centres . One or two who've seen him seem to see Duerden as a strong lock type ?

Well Dave looking at the size of Duerden he is not big enough for a prop to my mind? we have been short of a good attacking centre for a long time, would like to see him there,Conner as you say is a bit of a conundrum, just dont know what is his best position, been a disappointment to me so far.

what i would like to see this season is a wee bit more distance from our kicks to touch ,at times it is taking us three tackles to get to where i think we should have been with the kick

totally agree. Making yards is hard in this league and we didn't make use of the boot on freekicks IMO

Kicking is a very important part of the game now and i just think we should be paying a bit more attention to it?

The football pitch on the left as you walk upto the main entrance to their ground is like a swimming pool at the moment.

Don,t no about Coward but Olstrum as a bit of trouble with his hamstring,  and has not been able to train the last couple of weeks.
