So Super league and the Championship next season will be 2 divisions of 12 and then become 3 league's of 8.
Think i have that right, so 5 teams must be getting relegated if my maths is right and 1 get promoted from our league.

The number of teams in Superleague, Championship and Championship 1 is 14, 13 and 9 respectively. At the beginning of the 2015 season there will be 12 teams in each division. That means at the end of the 2014 season 2 will be relegated from Superleague to Championship and then 3 from Championship to Championship 1 and I'm assuming there will be no promotion from Championship 1. In 2014 then Superleague and Championship teams will be jockeying for position but we in Championship 1 will have nothing to play for except pride. Is my reading of the proposals correct?

There are 14 teams in the Championship in 2014.

I stand corrected weighman thank you, so does that mean 4 teams will be relegated from the Championship to Championship 1 at the end of 2014? Will there be 13 teams in Championship 1 in 2015?

It said in the Press yesterday that the formula for Championship One hasn't been decided yet David.

The assumption in C1 is that 1 team will go up, either as champs or via play-offs. But this is to be confirmed. We all await with baited breath.
