Was quite an interesting game, not very friendly at times mind! Scott Turner and Dalton Grant stood out to me on the wings, both seemed keen to go looking for the ball. Speakman showed some nice touches too, Burke and Morrison could prove to be a handful up front. Also thought the players looked a lot fitter than Keighley.

I enjoyed the game and felt the defence for most of the game was a big improvement on last season. Keighley's tries were scored by 3 lapses. The first at the Duke Street end the other two tries at the Tesco end. I agree Raiders seemed fitter and looked a far better side. Liam Harrison played his usual storming game and the winger on the popular side showed his speed in the 2nd half. Was that Grant.  Liam Campbell had what seemed to be a nasty injury just before the closing hooter. I hope he's OK.

I thought the gate of nearly 1,000 bodes well for the season. Looking forward to the next 2 friendlies.

Dom Speakman was my mom. Thought all debuts played well under what looked like a heavy pitch.
Rip the bludgers heads off!

Of course we don't know how good that Keigthley team was, but we do know that our lot haven't played together before.
I thought we played some good attacking rugby and were certainly up for it today.
We seemed the fitter side and today's effort bodes well for the season.
