I know it's only Monday but I am sure every fev fan is sooo looking forward to Sunday.. I think a tough encounter but I predict us taking the spoils 22-16.. I will be heading down from Newcastle to cheer on the lads

I think Cas will win narrowly.

You'd expect them to, being full time pros and all.

Right now, the result doesn't matter, it's a warm up game.  But come 3pm Sunday when the adrenaline is flowing, I'll have a totally different take on it.

Aye, a close one. I think they will be better prepared than Wakey.

For me, Fev to win a close on 22 - 18.

I can't remember a better set of pre-season friendlies (if you can call them friendlies?)

Possibly our first lose but you never know As long as it is another good run out and no one gets injured then a win is a bonus and we don't know who will be picked from both clubs so it's hard to call

Im sure Darryl will want to win this one and cant see him playing anything but his strongest team......

After yesterdays game with Halifax it appears that there are a few injuries including Nicholson, Roche,

Hardman and walmsley.

I would assume Bussey, Bostock and Cain may all be available though....

Will be very close IMO. C*s appear to be a more formidable side than Wakey.

Both coaches will be going for the win, so there's very little likelihood of experimental substitutions. It's a pity about Nicholson but if Bozzy comes back we will be even stronger, and with Bussey back at 6 and Cording in the centre, our defence  will be hard to break down. Trouble is Daryl will need the win even more than JB.

I go for a win decided by goal kicks, with Moore getting the upper hand.

Given that fev step up against cas and taking into account the draw halifax had with them, I am thinking 30-12 to fev.

I'll take the same as last year, outplay them for an hour then bring on some lads for experience, though would love to go 5 from 5 for JB's 'challenges'

The pity is the weather is going to be bad. Would love to see Sunley linking from full back to get Chisholm and Sharp over; Roll on Summer; 16-16...Bennion to have a stormer and Moore to score first;

Lets hope Rob can keep up the good work and make the field playable. We have a few injuries and I see that Saxton is picked and that Kain would have been considered but is still injured. With Hardman missing it might be difficult. I reckon it will be a forward game with Cas just edging it especially if Finny has his positional kicking boots on. My head says Cas 23 -16. My heart says Rovers by 6.

It's Finny's in in play kicking that might just edge it for us today. No Chisholm or James is a worry. Matty has been fantastic in the last few games.
