South Trafford Raiders - a relatively new junior club - are holding a trial for new u12/13 players wednesday 30th January (7-8pm) at Blessed Thomas High School Altrincham.

The club is run by Salford Red Devils - but we need players and adults to help the club put down some strong roots.

Please let me know if you can help in anyway !

Thank you

Hi

Just had the text as my lad was interested late last year, he is desperate to play, I am happy to assist on any capacity, you'll know me next week by my Batley Bulldogs beanie.

Hey Mick - that is fantastic ! We only one game last year but hopefully we can do much better. Salford provide the coaching support - including transport to away game. Great to have some from across the border on board !

Many thanks for the reply - its all about giving the lads an opportunity.

See you next Thursday.

Peter

he'd be more than welcome further up teh tram line in Bury as we have a U11s.

As an aside, we've some lads from Trafford MV RU (but who actually live in Moss Side) who use the tram to play in the U16 group at Bury so i'll mention the U14s down there and see if any know younger lads who'd want to try RL...

I'm afraid twitter is currently beyond me !

It's worth a look - an easy way to connect to other clubs and potential players and fans :)

Monday nights, indoors, Parrenthorn High in Prestwich for U7s, U9s (both 6pm) and U11s (7pm). Then at our ground (at last! we're signing a lease so we can call it that!) on Sunday mornings which is Philips High, Whitefield - a few mins by car from M60 J17 and a few mins walk from the Whitefield tram station.

I hope it goes well for you, but if you don't manage to get a full team then your players will be more than welcome to join our junior sessions.

We train at Parrs Wood High School, East Disbury at 6:00 every Friday.

Also, we coach several schools in South Manchester at year 5&6 and we're launching a year 7 (U12) team layer this year so your lad will be more than welcome if you're looking for somewhere nearer to Altrincham.

Pretty sure there are under 11's at Eccles, but the club are always on the look out for new players and coaches, etc, and I think that would be the nearest club to Altrincham. Maybe Mancunians?

Ta, just need a reasonably close club as I don't drive, so public transport of the missus's taxi will have to be utilised.
