Hi Guys

My name is Rob and I am the Club Secretary and founding member of the first ever Rugby League Club to be formed in Cornwall - Cornish Rebels RLFC.

We are one year old, almost to the day. In our first season we won the South West Challenge Cup and finished as League Leaders in the South West Premier Division.

For those of you know know Cornwall, you may be aware that traditionally it is deep Rugby Union territory, and so we are thrilled that the local response has been so good.

We are still growing, and aiming for big things, so we would love it if you could support us by folowing our facebook page, here https://www.facebook...426057100820899 or you can visit www.cornishrebels.co.uk and follow us on twitter @cornishrebelsrl

If you are a Rugby League ex-pat living in Cornwall, or simply a local person looking to get involved with and enjoy Rugby League, get in touch and say Hi! We are brand new, and this has never been done before so all help and support is hugely appreciated.

Many Thanks

Rob

I love these posts with clubs developing in areas outside of the traditional leagues. Having played at the likes of Northallerton Stallions, Gosport and now Kings Lynn, it is always a pleasure helping to develop the locals into rugby league fanatics. Long may it continue...
